Roosevelt to be Nominated (Rec. 7.10) WASHINGTON, Feb. 24 Representative Sabath. Chairman of the House of Representatives Rules Committee, and Dean of the House, said: “I have discussed a fourth term with Mr. Roosevelt, who neither wants nor seeks a fourth term, because he feels that he could render valuable assistance in making peace outside of White House.” Mr. Sabath declared: “Nevertheless. there is a definite movement, gaining momentum, to draft. Mr. Roosevelt for another term. This has been started by American people who have faith in 'the .President, and believe 'that he is the best qualified man to see us through the war, and to deal with the foreign politicians at the peace table.” Mr. Sabath added that he told Mr. Roosevelt that' he owes it. to the 'country and the world to run again. “I told him it would be an awful strain on him, but even his enemies recognise that there is no other man in a ’ nosit’on to proceed I'ke him,” , said Mr. Sabath, who predicted that Mr Roosevelt wifi b n nominated by acclamation at the Democratic National Convention and will be elected bv an overwhelming majority.
