SYDNEY TAXI STRIKE
INQUIRY WANTED. (Rec. 9.10) SYDNEY, Jan. 24. Most of Sydney’s twelve hundred taxis were idle on Saturday, during a one-day taxi drivers’ strike. The strike was called to draw attention, to the taxi men’s demands for a Government inquiry into their industry.
