CRICKET
TEAM TO PLAY ARMY. The following representative team to play Army at Grevmouth on Saturday and Sunday next was submitted by the selector and approved, at a meeting of tne West Coast Cricket Association, last evenin"' T. Mclntosh (’Keeper), D. Knanp? R. O’Callaghan, W. Meates, E. Taylor, A. Fletcher, J. Russell, I'. Dennehy, H. Westwood, G. Sansom, 0 Morris and R. Barlow (12th man). Messrs Taylor and Morris were nominated for captaincy of the team, and cn the casting vote of the Chairman, Mr Morrs was appointed captain, ft was decided that the match commence at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday, the umpires to be Messrs H. Ryan and J. Paterson. The Buller Association wrote asking for a date for a match at Greymouth for the Forrest Cup, and it was decMed to suggest February 7. The Air Force wrote accepting an invitation to play at Greymouth, and it was decided to advise the AnForce that the match could be played on any dates suitable to them.
