Mr and Mrs Barsby returned to Christchurch yesterday after a visit to Mr and Mrs G. Nimmo, of TaylorVil Mr C. Blance has returned from a visit to Nelson. Miss C. Blance is at present home from Punakaiki. . Miss P. Pender has been visiting her mother, Mrs J. Pender, of Taylorville. ’ . ■ Mrs R. Fordham left yesterday on a visit to Christchurch Mrs Hayes, of Christchurch, is visiting her daughter, Mrs T. Miller, of Taylorville. m , A send-off was held in the Taylorville pavilian for Stoker B: Williams. Mr G. Eder, on behalf of the Soldiers’ Farewell Committee, presented him with the usual wallet and contents. Music for dancing was supplied by Miss M. Watson. An excellent supper was served by the ladies’ committee.
