Requests for Concessions P.A. WELLINGTON, Nov. 25. , The Minister of Supply (Hon. D. G Sullivan), has assured the .New Zealand Farmers’ Union that consideration will bp given to its recommendations that special concessions under the clothes rationing scheme should be given to outdoor workers, particularlv in respect of working socks and raincoats Replying to the Union, the Minister in Charge of Broadcasting (Hon. D. Wilson), says that consideration of a reduction in radio licencp foes will have to be deferred till the essential development work planned bv the National Broadcasting Service is completed after the war These plans, he says, provide for the completion of a national chain of. stations to provide better reception than now in certain districts, and also the provision of studios and accommodation.
