Only three persons have gaind this honour in pianoforte playing in Buller, all thre/ being pupils of the Westport Convent, two of the three coming from Denniston. Pullar, father of Eunice, thanked the Sisters of Mercy and the Mayor, and all kind friends, for the honour paid to his daughter that evening by. coming to witness the ceremony of investiture.
