TWO PERSONS DROWNED

HAWERA ACCIDENT. P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH. Nov. 22. A double surf fatality occurred -at Waihi Beach, Hawera, to-day when a party of six young persons were in trouble in the surf. The victims were Mary Noeleen Frampton. daughter of Mr. C. E. Frampton. Hawera. and Bernie Wrila.ce-, a grocer’s assistant, Hawera. The latter’s body was not recovered. The other members of the party suffered from shock. The surf was calm, but with a sharp undertow, and all were in difficulties simultaneously.
