WAR IN CHINA
A JAPANESE REVERSE. (Reo. 11.10.) CHUNGKING, Nov. 16. A Chinese communique stated that Chinesp forces wo n an Important victory in the foothills of the mountains in the Shantung Province. The communique says over five thousand Japanese were killed and wounded. The main body of Japanese there has been swollen to forty thousand by the arrival of reinforcements. It was forced to fall back.
