RAINBOW FAIR

ATTRACTIVE DISPLAY. The Raidbow Fair, organised in aid of the building fund of St. Paul’s Methodist Church was opened yesterday afternoon in-the Bi-Centenial Hall by Rev. E. S. Hoddinott. It wfil be open this afternoon and evening. The appearance of the stalls, tearooms rnd sideshows is very attractive. The stalls are arranged to represent Various countries and are fully stocked with appropriate goods. The chairman is Rev. E. S. Hoddinott, organising secretary Mr. S. B. White, assistant secretary Mr. F. Lindbom, treasurer Mr. F. Trainer, artist Mr. R. Crase, and others on. the committee are Messrs R. J. Williams, F. Jacobs, and E. Airey. The stalls 'and other attractions are staffed by the following: Produce, Messrs S., B. White (convener), Jacobs, Airey, G. Boucher, W. Baty, Pepper 11, W. Boucher, J. Baty, Mesdames A. Batv, B. Baty, Hopkins and Miss S'. Hopkins. Cakes -and sweets, Mrs. White and Miss Ada White (conveners), Mesdames Scanlan, Lindsay, Coumbe, Caldwell, iPepperill, Pearn. and Lower. Sewing, Mrs. Peek and Miss Annie White (conveners), Mes-dr-mes Pankhurst, Judkin, McCabe. Heinz, Hazeldine, Braithwaite, and W.'tson. Flowers, Mesdames C. Smith, Sofield (conveners), Ashby, Hoddinctt, and Miss M. White.'Tearooms, Mesdames H. Smith, D. Roberts (conveners),, W. Baty, Jones, Misses D. Roberts, V. Gilmore, and J. Judkin. Jumble. Pupils of Miss Trott staged an entertaining programme during the evening.
