Rationing Rumour False

CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 29. A den'al that there is any foundation in persistent rumours that flour is about to' be rationed was made by Mr P l . McPherson, Dominion Wheat and Flour Controller to-day. Mr McPherson said that the rumours apparently were widespread, as the sales of household flour had now suddenly increased very considerably throughout the Dominion in the last two or three weeks. So far, he said, no harm had been done through the rush on the part of householders to lav in supplies, because there were adequate stores of flour.
