[Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] LONDON, October 6. “Agriculture is not only disorganised by the war, but we have been obliged to cope with earthquakes, floods and drought,” declared General Antonescu. Two Roumanian Iron Guards charged with an attempt against the life of General Antonescu, on September 30, were executed in Bucharest. The Vichy News Agency says: General Antonescu is urging prefects.and high civil servants to do their utmost to maintain supplies and improve the living conditions in Roumania. He admitted ' that this year’s harvest was one of the worst on record.
