For Soldiers at Auckland
Press. Assn. AUCKLAND, June 17. Arrangements were completed today, and were confirmed by the Film Industry Boaitd tin Wellington, for the opening of two Auckland picture theatres next Sunday night to members of ithe Armed Forces and their friends.
Mr. M. J. Moodabe; the representative of the motion picture interests on the Mayor’s Sunday Entertainment Committee, said that the arrangement, /at present, applied to next Sunday only. The theatres would open fat 8.15 p.m., in order not to clash with church services. The programmes shov/n would be the same as on the preceding night. The same charges would be made. Each serviceman attending might be accompanied by one friend.
