(Our Own Correspondent* REEFTON, June 4. The Inangahua Band, at a meetins’ held tb discuss difficulties due members being engaged m ° Guard training, decided, on the motion of the Bandmaster, Mr. Robinson to practise on Tuesday nigh . The Secretary, Mr. E. Baird, said that unless there could be eg c week-night practices, the Band would have to cease playmg until after the war. Mr. E. Elliston said practices could no longer be held on Sunday owing to members m the Hom' Guard training on that day. Influenza is prevalent here at present, some cases being rather severe. Mr D Kyle, late of Marina, is expected shortly to return from overseas. Owing to the illness of his sistei. there, Mr. J. B. Discaciati is visiting Wellington.
