COMMANDO RAID
On French Coast VALUABLE INFORMATION GAINED. (Rec. 12.5.) LONDON, June 4, A minor reconnaissance raid was carried out in the early hours of today over the enem” occupied coast of France, in the Boulogne and L? Touquet area, states a Combined Headquarters communique. The military raiding force consisted of special service troops. Valuable information was obtained. Re-embark-ation of the troops by units of the Royal Navy was covered by R.AF. fighters. The Roval Navy provided a naval escort for the force.
