An inquest into the death of Alexander Ogilvie, victim of the Cobden bridge railway crossing collision was opened at Greymouth yesterday before Mr M. J. Fogarty. J.P., as Coroner. Evidence of identification was given by Leo Ogilvie, son of deceased, and the proceedings were adjourned sine die. The condition of the other man injured in the accident, Mr Samuel Williams, whose relations reside at Arahura, was reported last night to be satisfactory.
