MADAGASCAR
BRITISH ADVANCING.
LONDON, June 3.
Vichy reports that the British have occupied Androvorano, 25 miles southward of Diego Suarez. Following the resumption of troop movements, the air action on both sides has increased. T . (Rec. 11.30) CANBERRA, June' 4. Mr. Curtain stated that the Australian Government had taken an active part in urging activity in Madagascar, and the Government was pleased Britain had forestalled the enemy.
