HEYDRICH SHOOTING 157 Reprisal Executions [Aust. & N.Z. Cable (Rec. 11.40.) LONDON, June 4. Heydrich is dead, as the result of his wounds through being shot. He was a Moravian, aged 38. He leaves a grim record of murder and oppression in the Czech territory. One hundred and fifty-seven persons, including twenty-three women have been executed for the attacks on Heydrich. The Prague radio announced that twenty-one Czechs, including two lawyers, a railway official, the wife of a Ministry of Agriculture official, and seven Jew's, were shot yesterday at Prague and Brno, charged with harbouring enemy agents, or publiclv approving the attack against Heydrich. Twenty-five more Czechs were executed to-day, including six women.»
