COAST v. CANTERBURY CHRISTCHURCH, June 2. The first Canterbury representative match of the season will be played on June 20 against the West Coast, at Greymouth. The management committee of the Canterbury Union this evening accepted the West Coast Union’s invitation to send a team. ■ The president (Mr E. V. Phillips) said he had been advised that players from the services would! be available for the match. It was decided that 18 players and Mr C. J. Oliver as manager, shouiu travel to Greymouth by rail-car on the morning of June 20. The Canterbury team will be announced on June 13.
