At the Kaiata Links, the annual Winter Tournament of the Greymouth Golf Club was played during the week-end. The Championships resulted as follows: Men’s Senior: B. W. Caulton; Men’s Junior: G. G. M. Mitchell; Women’s Championship (Ray Cup): Miss M. McKay. The following are the trophy winners :—
Senior Championship: B. W. Caulton; runner-up, H. C. Hill. Foursomes Championship: B. W. Caulton and H. C. Hill. Junior . Championship: G. G. M. Mitchell; runner-up, B. Foster. Medal rounds were won by W. Meldrum, R. F. Wodehouse, and C. D. Stewart. Foursomes nett aggregate: E. E. Chivers and H. W. Brown. Heaphy-Warnes teams shield: Messrs G. G. M. Mitchell, JMcNulty, and C. D. Stewart. Rav Cup*, Miss M. McKay; runnerup, Mrs. K. McCarthy. Best gross scores; Mrs. J. Coffey. Best medal round: Mrs. F. G. Wilkins. Foursomes best nett score; Mesdames Tizard and Wilkins.
