RAIDS ON BURMA
BY U.S. AIRCRAFT (Rec. 11.10). WASHINGTON, ' June 2. A United States Army communique reports thaWthree successful raids were made by American heavy bombers on enemy installations in Burma. Daylight raids were carried out against an aerodrome at Myitkyina, heaw damage being caused to runways and grounded planes. An attack was made on docks and "shipping in Rangoon. One enemy tanker was sunk, ancT other vessels were damaged. AJI the planes returned undamaged.
