52-HOUR WEEK
BRITISH MANUAL WORKERS (Rec. 8.15) LONDON, May 30. _ The introduction of a 52-hour week in industry and a 46-hqur week in offices (these hours not .including the time taken for meals) is announced by the British Ministry oLabour. A maximum yearly holiday of a fortnight is provided.
