FOUR JAP PLANES HIT.

(Rec. 11.15) MELBOURNE, May 21. The Allied General Headquarters of the South-West Pacific in a communique to-day, reports that twelve enemy fighter planes made a straffing attack on the Port Moresby aerodrome. They were intercepted by Allied fighter planes which damaged four of the raiders.

JAP AIRBASES Bombed on Timor

(Rec. 11.15) MELBOURNE, May 21 Allied Air Force planes on Tuesday attacked the aerodrome and installations at Koepang in Dutch Timor. Two Japanese aircraft were destroyed on the ground, and buildings were set on fire. An enemy seaplane base at Dilli, in Portuguese Timor,. was also attacked on Tuesday.
