Mr J. F. Bara'gwanath, of the “New Zealand Herald,” Auckland, was appointed chairman of the Parliamentary Press Gallery at its annual meeting yesterday, and Mr K. Wm. Pulton, of the “Evening Post, Wellington, vice-chairman. —P.A.
Private Margaret Jefferies formerly of Nelson, will broadcast to New Zealand to-morrow at 8.15 G.M.T. She is a clerk in the ATS pay office, and has been in England two years. She joined up six 'weeks after her arrival. She will describe the reasons whv she joined up, and training work.
