HUGE FACTORY STARTS

Consolidated Aircrafts’ new mechanical assembly line started operation to-day, producing long-range bombers While military secrecy prevents details it may be said that the planes are rolling off in quantity from the plant, working on a modified three-shift plan, which will pro J babiy be expanded. The factory s size may be imagined when it is known that hundreds of bicycles are used inside by the employees, whoso duties reouire trips to various parts of the factory frequently and quickly. Such Icmber production will be augmented soon when the automobile industry completes its factories built for the purpose.
