Food Sent by Pope I (Rec. 7.50). LONDON, February 23. In Berlin it has been announced that food supplies from the Pope, including milk from Switzerland and flour from Hungary, have arrived in Athens. TURKEY’S CONTRIBUTION. LONDON, February 23. The “Daily Telegraph’s” Istanbul correspondent reports: A Turkish ship, the Dumlupinar, sailed for Athens with 2,500 tons of food, including peas, lentils, beans and_salted fish-as Turkey’s contribution to ameliorate mass starvation in Greece.
