WEST COAST TOURNEY. Ideal weather was again experienced for the West Coast Croquet Association’s annual tournament, at Greymouth, on Saturday. It was hoped to complete all of the sections by the afternoon, but although at least one match was played in semidarkness, it was found impossible to conclude all sections and several matches remain to be finalised during the coming week. The following were the results:— Championship Singles—final of second life: Mrs. Whibley (Greymouth 1 26, Mrs. Henry (Christchurch) S. Mrs. Whibley thus won the championship, being successful in both lives. Mrs. Henry and Mrs. McCracken (Runanga), played off for runner-

up, the result being:—Mrs. McCracken"26, Mrs. Henry 16. Handicap Singles (over six bisques):—Mrs. Sligo 26, Mrs. McCarthy 20. Semi-final: Mrs. Sligo 26, Mrs. Shannon 12. Handicap Doubles—semi-final; Mrs E. Moss (3D and Mrs. C. Moss (8) 26, Mrs. Walsh (4i) and Mrs. Lawn (7) 12. Silver Buttons, Section C—First round: Mrs. Sligo 26, Mrs. Gunn 24. MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. On Friday evening, a meeting of the West Coast Croquet Association was held, Mrs. A.' Smith (President) being in the chair. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mrs. Wickes (Westport); vice-presi-dents, Mesdamss Wilson (Runanga), Allan Smith (Greymouth), Duncan (Cobden), Veale (Hokitika), Davis (Ngakawau) and Discaciati (Reef-
