An officer of the R.N.Z.A.F., was killed, and an airman pilot under training, was seriously injured yesterday, when an aircraft of the R.N.Z.AI.F. crashed during a training flight. The personnel concerned were: — Killed: Pilot Officer Hugh Maxwell McGill. Father, Mr. Hugh McGill, of Eastbourne, Wellington. Seriously injured: Leading Aircraftman Geoffrey Rogers, who was admitted to hospital.
