Mr Frank Milner. C.M.G., rector of the Waitaki Boys’ High School, will be the National Party’s candidate for tihe Oamaru seat at the forthcoming General Election. Mr M. F. G. Cooney who contested the seat as a Nationalist in 1938, will stand as an Independent.
