ANOTHER COMPLAINT.

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 26. In regard to the meat price order, Mr T. W. Stephenson (Christchurch) President of the N.Z. Master Butchers’ Association, stated, here to-day, that the order was considered to be unfair, particularly to the South Island retailers, and representations will be made again to the Tribunal, with a view to obtaining an amendment. Mr Stephenson said that no discourtesy had been shown to the trade by the 'Tribunal, which had on many occasions conferred with officers of the Association on the question. Mr Stephenson will confer with the Tribunal again on Monday. FEILDING, July 25. A representative meeting of farmers decided to support the New Zealand Meat Board in its operations regarding export produce. For this purpose a committee, comprising representatives of various organisations and districts was set up.
