The senior section of the second round of the Dewar Cup, played at Kaiata was won by R. F. Stopforth and the junior by R. Tindale. 'Best scores were .as follows: —Seniors: Stopforth, Brown, Walters and Boustridge, 1 down; Mathews, Taylor and Rhodes, 2 down; Hartley and Kane, 3 down. Juniors: Tindale, 2 up; Steer and Marshall, 1 up; Casey, all square: Stewart and Harker, 2 down; Woodhouse, 3 down, Marshall now leads with 5 up for the two rounds. In the Kaiata Cup, L. Rhodes will play P. G. Tizard in the final. Wednesday’s Bogey and C. Division matches will be in aid of the Parcels Fund of the Grey Patriotic Society; entrance fee 1/-.
