SABOTAGE AT BELGRADE

TOWN ELECTRICITY CUT OFF. COMMUNISTS’ COUP. (Rec. 2.0). ZURICH, July 21 A message from Belgrade; coming via Budapest, stated, that a group of Communists, destroying electric cabled on Friday, entirely deprived Belgrade of its electricity supply, which has not yet been restored. Twenty-eight persons were sentenced to death for complicity in the action taken. General Shroeder, the town commander, was 24 hours after the executions, seriously injured in an aeron’ane accident, the .capse of which is unknown LONDON Ju’y 2'J. The “Daily Telegraph’s” Istanbul correspondent says: It is reliably reported that the Roumanian Government is seriously concerned about the ever-growing effects of sabotage, especially in the oilfields, in wn-cli so-called Communists, are co-operat-ing with the Soviet agents responsible. It now appears that Fift: Columnists, and not Soviet bombers, are responsible for most of the de yastation at Ploesti, Tulcea, Sulin’.’i and Constanta.
