At Victoria Park: Because of training difficulties brought about by frosts, L. At. Maidens, the Winchmore trainer, is now located at Victoria Park, Greymouth, with Peter Smith, Cruiser, Frisco Boy Jesse Owens and Palomar, who are to receive their final preparation there for the Addington carnival. Another prominent member of the team, Zincali, who was the Dominion’s foremost stake earner in the last season, is now out in the paddeck for a two months’ spell, and his brother, Zingarrie, who is now spelling, will be placed in work next month.
