XTOTICE is hereby given that the Estimate made pursuant to Section 2 of “The Counties’ Amendment Act, 1931’’ of the proposed Expenditure of the Council during the year ending March 31, 1942, showing the sums available for such purpose, the additional sum required, the total i rateable value of the property on 'the Valuation Roll, and the general I rate thereon (viz. 3d in the £ on the i Capital Value) necessary t'o raise the money required, has been approved of by the Council, and such estimate may be inspected at the office | of the Council, Gresson Street, Grey1 mouth during office hours. KfOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Grey County Council, under the provisions of Section 51 of “The Rating Act, 1925’’ and Section 120 of “The Counties Act, 1920,’’ and all other sections of the above-mentioned Acts (and any amendments thereto I empowering if so to do) will, at ai meeting of the Council to be held; on WEDNESDAY, the 6th day Ofi AUGUST, 1941, MAKE AND LEVY A GENERAL RATE OF THREE-1 PENCE in the £on the rateable value I of all the rateable property (on the, basis of the Capital Value) appearing! on the Valuation Rolls now in force within the County of Grey; and a Special Lighting R.ate of one-halt-penny in the £ on the rateable value of all the rateable property (on the basis of the Capital Value) appearing on the Valuation Roll now in force within the Blackball Special Lighting District, North Riding. County of Grey; and a Special Lighting rate of one-fifth of a penny in the £ on the rateable value of all the rateable property (on the basis of the Capita] Value) appearing on the Valuation Roll now in force within the .Special District, South Riding, County of Grey, for the period commencing on the first day of April. 1941, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1942. The said rates shall be payable in one sum to the County Clerk, at the County Council Chambers, Gresson Street, Grevmouth, on the 20th day of August, 1941.
