TOUR IN WALES. LONDON, July 17. Mr. Fraser in a speech at Aberdare, said that in some extraordinary way a man had arisen to dominate anil hypnotise the German people, and to lead them into ways of terrible cruelty, vindictiveness, destruction, and death, in an effort to conquer the world. It would be better for us to be dead, than to tolerate it. Sir C. Kingsley Wood ha's written to Mr. Fraser, expressing sincere gratitude to the New Zealand Government for the arrangements made to pay off Britain's war expenditure ’advances. Welsh Tributes TO N.Z. PROGRESSIVE LEGISLATION. (Rec. 7.45). LONDON, Julv 18Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, New Zealand Prime Minister, accompanied by Mr W. J. The sneakers said that Mr Fraser was welcome not only as the Prime Minister of New Zealand, but also as the distinguished head of the most progressive country in the British Empire, especially in the sphere of social legislation. Mr Fraser, in renlving to the welcome, stated that he was seeing Wales at its worst time, because of the raid damage. He thought, however, that he was seeino- Wales and Britain at their best when the real soul and spirit of the people was revealed. Mr Fraser lunched with the Mayor of Cardiff and dined with the Cardiff Wholesale Co-operative Society. He later returned to London by car.
