APPEAL FOR SEVENTH REJECTED (PA) WELLINGTON, July 17. In the House to-day, in the notice of a question to the Minister of National Service, Mr E. L. Cullen (Govt, Hawke’s Bay), asked if the Minister would have reconsidered a case which came before the Armed Forces Appeal Board in Hastings, wherein a mother’s appeal on behalf of her son was dismissed. The mother had stated that she has three sons serving with the New Zealand forces over--seas, also one son at Fort Dorset, one. son in the R.N-.Z.A.F., and one son in' the Territorials. The son for whom she had appealed is her seventh, and only remaining son, who has assisted with the upkeep of the home.
