Mr and Mrs Renaud and family left Stillwater on Tuesday to take up their residence in Dunedin Messrs McCarthy and Hunter (Mines Inspectors) paid a visit -of inspection to the Wallsend Mine oh Tuesday. Mrs Todd (Presiddnt.) presided over a fair attendance, despite the boisterous weather, at the monthly meeting of the Brunner Women s Institute on Monday evening.- The motto for the month was: ‘‘lf you want t.o get on in the world, the best way is to be happy."
