The first round of the Brown and Walters Cups was over week-end. Results: GarCh and Ka.e 6up Walters and R. Marshall 4 up. Lind’ey and Hook 3 up, Rhodes and Russell 3 up, nell 2 up, Dixon and Davis 2 uf, O'Halloran and Taylor 1 up T.zard and Harker 1 up, Boustridge . and Coffey 1 up, Chivers and Tindale 1 up McNulty and Sligo, W. D Tay-oi and Gibson and Jones and Stopforth finished all square. Boustridge, Tizard and M a te .U;' qualified for the last three places m the Kaiata Cup. O Donnell defeated Duncan for first place, and Junior Medal round.
