Forecast.: Winds strong generally, and of gale roice in many places; directions: westerly at first in the North Island, and easterly in the South Island; but gradually tending to southerly generally Seas (N.Z. waters): Moderate south of Farewell Spit; otherwise rough or very rough at times Eastern Tasman Sea: Fresh winds from a northerly quarter at hist, but strong southerlies to gales are expending from the west; seas latei rising to rough or high..
