CHRISTCHURCH, March 18. The condition of . Willgam JSharpies, of 62 Abberley Crescent, aged 68. who was admitted to the Public Hospital with a compound fracture of the right leg, is improving. Sharpies was injured when he fell off a low staging at the premises of Dominion Builders' Supplies, Ltd., 75 Peterborough Street. Through coming into collision with a motor-car at the intersection of Oxford Terrace and Victoria Street last evening, a cyclist. William Donovan, aged 53, of 29 Andover Street, broke his leg and was admitted to the Public Hospital. His condition was reported last night as not serious.
