MARKETS NEW YORK, March 14. Australian Government bonds, which latterly showed signs of slight weakness, recovered their lost ground to-day. The market generally was quiet but firm. Most commodities gained, with cotton, domestic cotton, ■sugar and crude rubber new high ground for the season. The Chicago wheat market endeavoured to rally, but made little headway. Closing prices were practically unchanged.
