[Per Press Association] WELLINGTON, February 10. The weather report is as follows:— An anti-cylclone covers New Zealand, but pressure is falling again in the south with the advance of a westerly depression across South Tasman Sea. Wines moderate and variable in the north and moderate but freshening northerly to westerly winds prevailing from Cook Strait southward. Seas slight or moderate generally at first, but later rising about Cook Strait and south of Westport. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light variable winds and slight seas in the northern portion; moderate but freshening north-westerly winds and gradually rising seas in the southern portion. Weather for the most part fair to line. Scattered rain is developing to-morrow, however, in the south-western and far southern areas of the South Island. Temperatures mild to warm.
