ACCIDENTS
LEG BROKEN.
CHRISTCHURCH, February 10.
When he slipped and fell in Hagley Park, near the corner of Lincoln road and Moorhouse avenue, on Saturday evening, J'. Shortall, aged 54, of 90 Riccarton road, broke his right leg. He was taken by the St. John Ambulance to the hospital, where his condition last night was reported as satisfactory. Believed to have fallen from a firstwoor window a’t St. Elmo Flats, Worcester street Jack Fleming, of Wigram aged 36, was picked up unconscious on Saturday evening and removed to the hospital by the St. John Ambulance. He was found to be suffering from concussion and head injuries. His condition last evening was satisfactory.
