WEST COAST TOURNEY Championships Commence With teams competing from Greymouth, Karoro, Cobden, Runanga, Hokitika, Matai, Barrington Heathcote, Edgeware, Takaka, Riccar Racecourse, Darlield, Sydenham, Lyttelton, Shirley, Canterbury and Nelson clubs the annual championship tournament of the West Coast Bowline Centre opened yesterday moi mi and Karoro greens. The weather conditions were idem, and though the greens earlier in wdav were slow owing to the week-en rain they dried out quickly and became faster. The days play was the fours competition, there being three rounds played in each of t e two sections. The competing rinks were as io - lows: —
