MOBILE CANTEENS
FOR N.Z. OVERSEA FORCES WELLINGTON, February 5. The secretary of the National Patriotic Fund Board stated this afternoon that he understood the staff of a well-known New Zealand firrn was considering the presenting of two mobile canteens for New Zealand troops overseas. It is intended to use these canteens in the Middle East and to have the bodies built in New Zealand. MASONIC GIFT. WELLINGTON, February 5. The Supreme Council of the Thirty-third Degree of the Ancient and Accepted Rite for England, Wales, the Dominions and Dependencies of the British Crown, after consultation with Lord Galway, a prominent member of the Supreme Council and Chairman of the National Patriotic Fund Board, has presented a mobile canteen to the board for use of New Zealand troops overseas. Making this announcement this afternoon, the secretary of the National Patriotic Fund Board, said the gift would prove a very valuable adjunct to the work of the board overseas.
