Family Tragedy CHRISTCHURCH, February 5.Mrs Mabel Cowman was found dead at her home about 10.50 a.m. to-day. Her husband, Norman Cowman, wa s admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital at 3.15 p.m., suffering from poisoning. Their two daughters, Nola, aged eight years, and Shirley, aged three year o were admitted to the hospita. at 4.30 p.m., also suffering from poisoning. It i s believed that Mrs Cowmans death' and the condition of her husband and daughters was caused by eating pipis. An inquest has been opened into the death of Mrs Cowman, and a post mortem has been ordered. The condition of those m hospital i° satisfactory.
