STRICKLAND AND RICHARDS. (Received February 6. 12.49 a.m.). SYDNEY, February ft. Commenting on an Auckland report that the boxer Strickland may come to Australia for a match with th-e boxer Ron Richards, the latter’s manager, Mr Munro, stated to-night that, although Richards has announced his retirement from the ring on Monday, his friends are sanguine that he will b e induced to carry on with a series of matches awaiting him, including another with Fred Heneberry.
