She is to return this week to load for Wellington and Miramar. The Karu arrived early yesterday morning with cargo from Wellington. She will load timber for Miramar and Wellington. The Kaimiro arrived early yesterday morning from Wellington. She loads to-day for Auckland and Portland. I i

The Alexander is expected on Wednesday from Port Waikato, to load timber for return. The Kiwitea is expected about Thursday from Gisborne to load coal for Napier and Gisborne, via Westport. i The Korowai is expected about January 27 from Auckland, to load coal for Wellington. Owing to a broken- tailshaft, the m.v. Hokitika, which was due yesterday from Wellington, will jnow not arrive until later in the week. WELLINGTON, January 19.
