Done to Death by Gas BECAUSE OF INSANITY. [Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] (Received January 19, 8.40 p.m.) LONDON, January 18. The Geneva correspondent of the National Catholic Welfare Committee reports that one hundred thousand insane Germans have been killed on the ground that they were a burden on the community. Patients were, it is reported, brought from the insane institutions in buses, and were locked up in specially-built shacks, and exposed to poison gases.
