BELGIAN WATERWAYS
BEING REPAIRED. GERMANS’ EYE TO INVASION. (Received January 14 9 p.m.) LONDON, January 13. The Free Belgian News Agency states:—The Germans have drafted thousands of Belgians to repair the waterways and bridges which were destroyed during the invasion of Bel-" gium. This is with a view to a coming attempt to invade Britain. The Germans are aiming to re-establish navigation between Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp. Men are now working ceaselessly repairing the canals.
