NORWAY REGIMENT
TO FIGHT BRITAIN. QUISLING’S PROJECT. HELSINKI, January 13. Major Quisling is organising a regiment of Norwegians for Ge .'many, to light against Britain. He made an impassioned appeal to Norwegians to enrol for Germany’s and Norway’s common fight against the archenemy. He declared that a Nazi victory was imminent, and that Britain’s world influence was doomed to extinction for ever. Many members of the Fascist organisation are expected to enrol. LONDON, January 13. “The Times” Stockholm correspondent says that Major Quisling may command the regiment of Norwegians to fight Britain; for which reason it is suggested that this may be a convenient pretext to let him and his most-hated supporters out of the country without loss of prestige. They are so detested that their presence hampers the pacification of Norway.
